1. What was the mother's purpose for creating the iPhone contract?

4. Create one additional item you would add to this contract, if you were Gregory's mother. Explain why this addition is important.


     The mothers purpose for creating the contact was to make sure her son wasn't doing anything he wasn't supposed to on his phone, and to regulate the time he had on it. 
     I thought the rule about no inappropriate content was fairly reasonable... But that usually goes without saying. 
     I think the rule saying that it had to be turned off at 7:00 and couldn't be taken to school was a bit over the top.. That means you only have like 5 hours to be on it each day, 6 on weekends. Once you start a conversation with someone, you don't want to tell them that you have to go because your time limit with your phone is up. Its a bit childish, even if he is only thirteen.
     If I had to add an additional rule to the mothers contract, I would say that only you were allowed to have it. If something happened to it, and it wasn't you, you would still get blamed for it. It could get broken, or even get dropped in the toilet... I speak from personal experience.
     I think the contract was overall a good idea. Some of the rules I couldn't agree more with. Others I think are just pointless. His mother did know what she was doing when she bought him that phone.

MLK project

             Dr. King was a guy who wanted to have equal rights. He also was a father a four kids.
             But sadly he was killed on a hotel balcony in 1968.Mlk lead the civil rights movement.He was also in the boycott.


             He wanted every man and woman to have equal rights.Also he wanted to have whites and blacks to be together.He also wanted to end segregation.



             Some obstacles in Americans way was some people didn't want it.Also some people hated black people.Also some people didn't like white people.So that is some obstacles in there way.



              Some things are we must develop a world perspective.Also devoid a larger dream of a world of brotherhood and peace.that is some of the things for making a American dream reality.



             Some things you can learn from MLK is that every person should be equal.Also that whites and blacks should be together.that is some stuff that we can learn from MLK.



             

Dr. Martian Luther King Jr.

               Dr. Martian Luther King Jr. was a man that believed everyone is created equal. Even though he believed in peaceful protests and non violence he got death threats. In his life he was named man of the year in 1963 by time magazine and he also won a noble peace prize in 1964. He is called the leader of the civil rights movement.
                Kings idea of the American dream was that everyone is equal and should be treated equally. He wanted everyone to live together and get along with each other. Mostly it was that people shouldn't be defined by the color of their skin but by there actions. He believed the best way to achieve this dream was to be peaceful and patient.
               America has always been a little segregated but i got worse around 1940. To the point that if you weren't white you couldn't even sit in the same restaurant or use the same restrooms and drinking fountains. Dr. Martian Luther King Jr. wanted to change that to show that just because you have a different color of skin doesn't make you superior than the others.
             Dr. King believed that all the problems would be solved if everyone worked together. That everyone needs to develop a world perspective i think this means you should care and know about what is going on in the world. Also how every country views us.
             Even though his thoughts of non violence and standing together applied to the civil rights movement we should use them now. We now are taught that every one is equal and deserves equal rights but that dosent mean that we always treat every one fairly. So we should learn from his beliefs.

The American Dream

     Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was an amazing man who suffered being jailed over twenty times, being stabbed in the chest, and a horrible bombing to his own home.  Yet he didn't believe in violence to solve any sort of problem. 
     The American Dream said that all men were to be treated equal.  That is what Dr. King was trying to overcome; segregation.  It also says that men are "endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights."  Those rights include; life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. 
     Standing in the way of achieving this dream is that all people think the same way.  Most everyone needs to agree when we do something drastic.  Everyone is opinionated. 
     Dr. King delivers ideas that support how we can achieve this dream.  He said that everyone needs to develop a world perspective.  This means to set a good reputation for the US.  Think about how people foreign to the United States would see us. 
     Dr. King has taught us so much and I still have a lot to learn from him.  He has made us aware of many things around the world, let alone the United States.  There are so many possibilities that the next American Dream could be.  Along with those come a variety of outcomes.  Which is why we need to take into consideration of how others see us.

           Martin Lurther King Jr.lived only 39 years. In that 39 years he wrote many books. he also was imprisoned more than once. His I Have a Dream speech  is recited by thousands of schoolchildren each year. He also was a enormous impact on people . Also he lead no violent protest.


       Martin Lurther King's idea of the american dream is all men and women are equal .Also he wanted segergation to stop and every one treated equal and with respect.

        Some obstacles that are keeping us from the american dream is some people still wanted segergation to continue. Also another obsitcle is people don't want to treeat each other with respect.

         Dr.King's suggestions for achiving the american dream is treat other with respect. Also end segragation.Also treat every one equal.


        Some lessons we can learn from Dr.King is how to respect other also that violance is not always the awnser. The next american draem should be every be nice and treat people with respect even if you hate them.

    Dr.martin luther king jr. was a american and history recognized name. He lived for 39 short years. His lifes work had an enormous impact that is still today. Dr.King spent his entire life in fiht for full citizenship for african americans. Dr.King did a protest on civil rights, but once he protested all of his stuff was distroyed.
    The america is a dream, a essentially dream. Although the dream has to still be filled. Its a dream where lands where men of all races can live together as brothers. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unaleinable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," is the dream.
    America has been something of a schizophreic personality, tragically divided aginst herself ever since the founder fathers of our nation dreamed this noble dream. One hand we are have a proudly professed the principles of democracy. On the other hand we have sadly practiced the very antithesis of those principles. Indeed slavery and segregation hae been strange doing in the nation founded on the principle that all men are created equal.
    Dr.King first thinks all of us must develop a world persective if we are to survive. The american dream will not become reality devoid of the large dream of a world of brotherhood and peace and good will. The world in wihich we live is a world of geographical oneness and we are challanged now to make it spiritually one.
    My conclustion is the lessons we can learn from Dr.King is more helpful then you might think. The things we can learn for him are what we should put in the next american dream. I think in the next american dream should be help full to all of the homeless and the poor. They should help people who are hurt in africa in the next american dream.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was born January 15 , 1929 - april 4 , 1968 .He was a man commited to non violence. He spent his entire life in the fight for full ciztizenship for african americans and rights.Martin luther King Jr. won the nobel peace prize. He Also help do civil rights and activist and a minister .In Dr. Luther Kings Jr the American dream it explains that how he was making up rights about the laws they were making and he was figuring out ways to stop the civil rights and the laws so he made his I have a dream speech.The obstacles that were standing in the way of the american dream was theh law and people boycotting and protesting. The American dream was a stand like the I have a dream speech and it was similar to the civil rights and how we treat people.From this lesson I learned about that its important to treat people and make goals for your self and making sure you accompish it. The next american dream I should think is rights you have and laws .

                Dr.martin luther king. jr was a brave and fair man, for what he be believed in and stood up for. He was married to a women he had four children with. He was assinated at the age of thirty-nine on his motel balcony.
                Dr. king main reason was for everybody to be treated fairly. He wanted freedom for everybody no matter what race. He wanted for nobody to be treated then any body else.
                 One obstacle that would be difficult to pass is that there will people who will disagree with what he beleives. if he does this in america and it works everybody else in other countries will try this, but then it will start arguements with other countries and our's because of what we allowed dr. martin to do.
                 Dr. martin luther king wanted people to look beyond the color of there skin. he went to jail and tried to make other people follow his lead. but nobody else wanted to go to jail except the kids. he did not let them go to jail. he sugested to solve the situation with peace, non violent. but the police tried to solve the problem with violent.
                  Dr. martin luther king jr wanted us to live together peacefully. with no judgement or seperation of people of all races and tht nothing will ever change that. if there was another american dream it would be to end wars and settle every conflict with every country. so the next american dream should be world peace and nothing will change.

  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a kind nonvoilant man.He was jailed 20 times. He had got stabed in chest and he lived though that. Ha had talked to former presindent John F Kenndy. He was the youghest person to earn the nobel peace prize.

 I think the american dream was everyone is equal.That blacks and whites could go to school with whites.

Somethings that were in dr king's way were white men that didn't agree to what he would say. Another thing that was in his way was getting jailed 20 times. Another thing that was in his way was getting stabed so he had to go to the hospiltal.


 End the segration prombles. Then to have white people treat black people better. Finally to end the raceisum.


We could learn no matter who you are you could get something do if you try. To get a better econommy. Finnaly MLK made a good leader.

Martin Luther King:I have a dream

Martin luther King Jr. was very brave and determined in what he did. He was very brave because he was in a lot of danger people could have hurt him like when he got stabbed in the chest and his house got bombed and he still kept going even though it was hard.

The american dream was where all men with all races could live together in peace and could live with equal rights. That all men are created equal,that they have the rights to live among life,liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This is the dream.

Although all men were created equally there was still slavery and segregation.

It was hard for him because he had many obstacles in his way while he was trying to help african americans and slavery be fixed it was hard.  One of the obstacles in his way was that some white people did not want black or african american people were by them so they got the police on them.


Martin Luther Kings suggestions for making the american dream a reality was to get a law for no more slavery against black people or african americans. Also to make african americans have equal rights as everyone one else.


My vision for what i think should be the next American dream should be to lower taxes and help out people with little or no money or food.

Turning it in at night and her always knowing the password, because thats invasding his privacy and to have to turn it in like he was borrowing something doesnt make sense.

2. Which item of the contract do you feel is the most reasonable? Explain. i think the most reasonable rule is to always answear a phone call from parents. you never know how important it might be.
 
3. Which item of the contract do you feel is the most extreme? Explain. i think the most extreme rule is that he cant take alot of pictures. he might want to look back on something that happened a while ago. it may not be relevent in his mind.

Explain why this addition is important. my new rule for the contract would be to never lend anyone whos not in your sight handle your phone. i think this is important because it YOUR phone, not anyones elses. its your property and your responsible for keeping it as safe as possible.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. had strong beliefs in equal rights for all. Dr. King graduated at 15 and started to pursue his dreams. Dr. King had many uncool things happen to him when fighting for equal rights. He had been in jail 20 times, stabbed in the chest , his house had been bombed etc.

Dr.King's dream was where all men should live together as brother's not enemies. That all men have equal rights , that they are endowed with the rights that they was born with.  That among those little thing's these things are life , liberty , and the pursuit of happiness.

Some of the obstacles that were in his way was the racism, gender, religion, etc.  Nobody should be judged by the way that they look or their race!

Dr. King wanted the world to be in peace with no violence. Everybody should be challenged.  Not walking around like one is better than another! He wants us to think of the whole world as one, not just as an individual!

The lessons we can learn from Martin Luther King Jr. is that everybody should be treated the same. Everybody should have equal rights. He thought that everybody need's to live together as a whole world, not just seperated by race. My vision for the next American dream would probably be stop the violence. To many people today are dying over unnessecary things. That would be my American dream!

   I wouldnt add anything I would take something off.. the part where he cant take it to school. I wold allow him to. Incase there is an emergency and the school cant get ahold of me.
